A little background. I host some other game servers including other minecraft servers and I understand how a server like this is "successful" or becomes so. In my opinion the key to "success" in terms of game servers is longevity. No one wants to sink time into something that wont last. Which is why I will do whatever I possibly can to insure that this server remains online and that it never resets in any shape or form as I have done and continue to do so with my other servers.

I will never seek to make money off of this server and will not ask for donations unless it becomes infeasible for me to pay server costs on my own.

oldmc.org
oldmc.org consists of 2 minecraft servers, one 1.12.2 and the other 1.8.8 neither server has rules and never will. The IP is oldmc.org for 1.12.2 and old.oldmc.org for 1.8.8 . I promise that the world will never reset.
No updates.
The whole idea of these servers is to provide an experience no longer available on modern versions of minecraft. Which is why the servers will never update to a newer version. They will forever remain on 1.12.2 and 1.8.9

The server has no rules and will never have rules or "terms". Their is an anticheat but most things can be worked around when configured correctly. No resets of any kind, ever.
